Philip QuickTouch Garment Steamer : Product Review

Korang mesti penah nampak steam iron ni di jual kt Jusco, Carrefour, Giant, Harvey Norman..etc etc kan..n bila tgk org tu buat demo..waaa...cam best gile... xyah dh nk pakai conventional iron..dok menekan2 atas iron board..paling leceh kalo nk kena gosok kain2 jenis silk..mane yg kedut xhilang2 after gosok 10 kali..(kena pakai ironing aid..pakai Downy pun xjalan..hehehe), mane yg terover panas n abis terbakar..mana yg xstay put..yela..licin n asyik bergerak2 je bila gosok...pastu tensen nk gosok baju2 yg ade beads or butang byk..terlanggar kuat sikit..abis terbarai beads..pastu pasal conventional iron ni panas..the color of clothes will easily fade kan? Setuju x?

So..I've been eyeing this piece for quite sometime..dok la contemplating...to buy or not to buy..at least pakai conventional iron tu..berpeluh2 la jugak menggosok..(eksesais kunun) tapi pulak mcm I have limited time now..kalo bole, xnakla spend like 2-3hours kt ironing je..(talking bout quality time..hahahahaha) I told hubby on my opinion..and he basically..xkisah..like..sukatila..nak beli, beliii..xnk beli, xyah beli..no objection.. ~~haih.. ye la..dia bukannya buat keje2 menggosok nih..so last month tgh jalan2..ade sale..jual dlm RM299 je instead of RM349..and hubby kate..beli la bu..sian u sakit2 pinggang menggosok..so akhirnya..beli la..

Now..tujuan aku buat n3 ni bukan pasal nk berlagak aku beli steam iron ni ye..
This time around ekceli aku nk buat product review Philips Steam Iron nih.psl..aku tgh rase cam a little bit (little yg little tau) regretful la lepas beli.. Pasal ape..pasal..first aku xbyk baju kurung..n aku cuma pakai bj kurung utk event2 tertentu je..such as raya n kenduri (bukan ape, aku nk menjaga ke exclusive an baju kurung tu..tgk cam cheong sam n saree..bila sekali sekala di pakai kan sgt cantik..exclusive je rase.. ok..sila la back hand aku..hehehehehe) but for real..kalo korg mmg pakai baju kurung..especially yg byk beads..chiffon, silk or kemeja2 yg sewaktu dgnnya..byk butang bagai..korg adalah calon yg sesuai pakai benda alah ni..tapi kalo byk pakai top cotton n seluar slack..mcm leceh sikit la..pasal first..kalo guna conventional iron, kita bole bentang betul2 atas iron board tu n gosok..kalo guna steam ni..kita kena gantung baju tu..do u get what I'm trying to say?

Ok wait..aku try rephrase..kalo iron board, kita ada board tu utk prevent baju tu from melayah2..tapi psl kita gantung n the steam pressure from the steam iron is pushing the clothes to all direction..agak mcm susah nk control..so sebelah tgn kena pegang baju so that it stay put, sebelah tgn lagi pegang iron tu..basically, conventional iron sakit pinggang, steam iron ni lenguh tangan..n aku jadi geram sendiri bila baju tu melayah2..bengang woo...pastu it is not meant for wool or jeans..psl nnti those material will just absorb the steam..n sudahnya those clothes basah..

Then jugak, iron ni kena fill in water in the tank so that it can produce steam..n 1 full tank will last until 3 pasang baju je..after that habis, kena refill n kena tunggu panas dulu..quite tedious la..so itula kekesalan aku..Tapi kan kan kan..aku rase la jugak..aku rase kan..aku belum expert lagi utk guna kot..pasal aku tgk kt garment department mane2 bila derang iron guna steam iron ni mcm senang je dia buat..xleceh pun..aku amatur lagi kot..
So ini je la piece of my thought about steam iron ni..bagi yg nk beli..make sure korg mmg byk baju2 kurung, kemeja n tudung jenis chiffon, silk, satin, byk butang n yg sewaktu dgnnya okeh...

****
Info tambahan : If nk iron baju guna steam iron ni, I would advice buat awal..coz it uses steam..so baju akan terasa lembab sikit....best is 30mins before and hang it where fan is blowing..so baju akan kering balik.....

Pastu, ade satu jenis kain tu..aku xsure kain jenis apa..dia mcm cotton, tapi bila gosok kedutnya xilang..sampai sakit ati gila..this happen kt baju Qdees Uwaiz..still got the creases..sudahnye..aku guna jugak balik conventional iron + starch..baru licin bak kulit muka aku.................adeh! aku lempang diri sendiri pasal ayat xtau malu..hehehehe

Hmmm...it needs skill la..rasenye kalo dh biasa won't have a problem..just that iron ni xleh la nk buat side yg tajam sampai luka tuh..hehehehehe..but I like it when I have to iron baju kurung yg byk beads..super easy compared to conventional iron..so in ur case, mcm sesuai gak beli coz slalu pakai bj kurung kan..
kalo kemeja en. suami tu..tgk jugak..if its a very thick cotton, dia akan lembab..like i said..it work best with chiffon, satin . silk material..

Aku pun dh pakai garment steamer brand Philip ni lbh kurang 1 mth. Mula2 mmg bengang & ada sikit rasa menyesal. Tapi, after a while, aku analyse, study and concluded that:
1) Bukan semua baju sesuai pakai steamer especially tudung dan kain baju kurung
2) Buat kerja2 steaming ni lapikkan kat pintu or dinding, kalo x, baju asik melayang je
3)Based on item 2, ironing pants have never been easier especially jeans, khakis, etc (except seluar kecik ye..)
4) Ironing time has improved by 50% kalo pakai steamer ni.

This garment Steamer from Bizarkdeal is an awesome device to keep around and use to clean anything you can think of in your house! It truly is professional quality steaming too and is very simple to use. Just fill it up and make sure it's plugged in and you're ready to go...couldn't be any easier. I've used it on a ton of different clothes so far and all the curtains in my house...they have come out better than I could have expected. Very happy with this! Make sure you get one as soon as you can. A+
